Job Description:

Remove and safely handle asbestos-containing materials at worksites by setting up containment, wearing required PPE, following approved abatement procedures, and cleaning, packaging, and disposing of hazardous waste in compliance with safety regulations.

On site

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

• Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification

• Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
• First Aid Certificate
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

Responsibilities:

Tasks

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Operate machines and equipment
• Clean and prepare surfaces
